The Jeunes Chef Competition

The weekend's highlight was the Midwest Regional Young Chef competition, featuring four talented chefs challenged to create three courses from a mystery basket of fresh ingredients. The young chefs impressed judges with their skills and unique menus.

The Gala Award dinner celebrated the winner, Phil Gentry, with a five-course meal prepared by Iowa Culinary Institute students, under the guidance of Chef Michael Dell, CEC. The evening concluded with the presentation of scholarships to support culinary education.
