2022 Des Moines Chapitre

After a brief hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions, Des Moines, Iowa, took center stage to host the Midwest Chaîne Chapitre, showcasing true Midwestern hospitality.

This year's Midwest Chapitre was hosted at the AC Hotel, nestled in the heart of the East Village. The Jeunes Chef Competition featured four talented chefs at the Iowa Culinary Institute, the crown jewel of Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC).

Bailli Délégué des États-Unis Bertrand de Boutray and Midwest Bailli Provincial Greg Wallis emphasized the Chaîne's crucial role in sponsoring and planning this event for young culinary professionals.

The Chapitre highlighted Des Moines' attractions, starting with a dinner at Bubba Southern Comfort restaurant, offering a taste of Dixie in Des Moines. An officers' brunch, creative Friday afternoon options, and a memorable dinner at the Embassy Club with panoramic views of Des Moines.
